The consultancy services I provide are based on an integrated set of profiling tools sourced through Team Management Systems. Team management Systems (TMS) is an Australian company that operates in 160 countries world wide. The TMS approach is used in 8 out of 10 top Australian companies. Organisations such as QANTAS, BHP Billiton, Johnson & Johnson, Woolworths and the Defence Forces are numbered among its clients. We prefer to use TMS tools because it allows skill development and comparisons with executives, leaders, managers and team members in similar level positions across education as well as industry, commerce and the professions. Understanding work preferences is a critical component in developing individual, team, and organizational performance. Team Management Systems' Team Management Profile Questionnaire (TMPQ) is a 60-item assessment focused on enhancing understanding of an individual's approach to work. Based on the responses to the TMPQ, the Personal Team Management Profile provides constructive, work-based information outlining an individual's work preferences, based on the Team Management Wheel, and the strengths that an individual brings to a team.

There's more to teaming than just hooking things up! Linking - the integrating of people and work processes - is necessary to ensure high performance at work.
Exclusive interviews with teams and team leaders throughout the world have highlighted common elements responsible for integrating teams into a coherent 'whole'. These are the People Linking Skills, the Task Linking Skills and the Leadership Linking Skills.

Team Management Systems has three multi-rater Linking Skills Profile Questionnaires (LSPQs) that enable a number of different people to rate an individual's Linking Skills. The 36-item Linking of People Profile Questionnaire is suitable for all team members; the 66-item Linking of People and Tasks Profile Questionnaire is ideal for senior team members and the 78-item Linking Leader Profile Questionnaire is designed for team leaders.

Is your glass half-empty or half-full? This Profile looks at people's approach to risk and determines the balance of effort put into seeing the opportunities and obstacles at work. Some people have a higher risk acceptance than others and may see only the opportunities, often ignoring the obstacles. Others may be risk averse and see only the obstacles, ignoring the possibilities of new projects or ventures. This Profile measures the five subscales of MTG Energy, Multi-Pathways, Optimism, Time Focus and Fault-Finding and calculates an individual's Opportunities-Obstacles quotient QO2™.

Values have a major influence on how individuals approach their work. The alignment between personal and organizational values can have a significant effect on the behavior of individuals and teams. The Organizational Values Profile Questionnaire is a 32-item profile questionnaire allowing individuals to rate their perceptions of the core organizational value types, based on Dick McCann's Window on Work Values. Profile feedback gives a work values hierarchy and, where applicable, key match information on the alignment between personal and organizational values.

This Profile is based on Dick McCann's Window on Work Values which describes eight core Value Types. The Window on Work Values Profile Questionnaire is a 64-item questionnaire where individuals record those activities or situations at work that they value. Profile feedback gives a work values hierarchy and key information to help individuals understand how their values influence behavior.
